Giselle Lopez of the Silverado Star: What are your plans after high school?

Riley Collins: My plans after high school are to go to college and study to become a chemist.

Star: What are you passionate about? What are your interests?

Collins: I’m really passionate about writing and soccer. My interests are dancing, writing, playing soccer and painting.

Star: What activities do you participate in at Silverado?

Collins: I participate in Varsity soccer, Dance Company, and Mahjong Club.

Star: What are you most looking forward to during your senior year?

Collins: I’m most looking forward to hanging out with my friends. It’s been so long since we’ve all been able to get together because of COVID, so we plan on making the most with the time we have left.

Star: If you could give underclassmen advice, what would it be?

Collins: If I could give advice to underclassmen, it would be to enjoy your high school experience. During my freshman and sophomores year, I didn’t go to football games or anything like that, and now I’m a senior trying to play catch up with activities I missed out on.
