Kristyann Esteron of the Silverado Star: What are your plans after high school?
John Agounke: My plans after high school are to go to college and study sports medicine to be a sports physician assistant.
Star: What are you passionate about? What are your interests?
Agounke: I’m passionate about football. At the moment, that’s my number one interest.
Star: What activities do you participate in at Silverado?
Agounke: In school, I’m involved with both football and track.
Star: What are you most looking forward to during your senior year?
Agounke: The stuff I’m looking forward to most during senior year is making memories with my friends.
Star: How does it feel going 11-0 this football season?
Agounke: Going undefeated this season has been a dream come true. Everyone has been looking forward to the state championship since the preseason, and it’s great that we’ve made it this far.
Star: What are you some of your favorite memories from this season?
Agounke: My favorite memory from this season has to be the homecoming pep rally. It was great to see all of my teammates having fun and smiling.
Star: Is there anything you would like to say to your teammates?
Agounke: One thing I’d love to say to my teammates is that I will always remember them and that we will go down in Silverado’s history forever.
Star: What keeps you motivated?
Agounke: Someone that keeps me motivated is my mom. She’s been through so much and has worked so hard to be successful at what she does, and I would love to be like her when I’m older.
Star: If you could give underclassmen advice, what would it be?
Agounke: If there was anything I’d say to the underclassmen, it would be that high school goes by way faster than you expect it to. Make the memories you want to make and have fun while you can.
