Led by President Allyson Trump (12), Key Club is active and prominent around the Skyhawk campus as they volunteer at many different events around the valley as well as bond and connect with other key clubs and members at different schools in our division.
To be an official Key Club member, there are some requirements. Members need to pay the $12 fee and complete 50 hours of community service. When this is completed, you are inducted as an official member and receive an official membership card.
“I highly recommend joining Key Club because I think it’s a great way to meet and serve your community along with make new friends,” says vice president Rasleen Sahni (11).
The board is working on planning the next volunteer opportunity.
“Being a part of Key Club can teach you the values of unity, and taking care of, helping your community is fun,” Sahni says.
In November, Key Club is going to Six Flags. Along with the trip, they are planning to meet all of the key club organizations in the district from California, Hawai’i and Nevada.
You can find Key Club every Thursday in room 200. Stop by if you’re interested in joining.
