Towards the end of September, from Sept. 22 to 26, Silverado held the first spirit week of the 2025–2026 school year in preparation for Homecoming. This week held many events, such as the dress-up days and the football game.

This spirit week included Monday: Squad Day; Tuesday: Class Colors; Wednesday: Workout Wear Wednesday; Thursday: Far From Home and Friday: There’s a Skyhawk Storm Coming. All of these spirit days were modeled after this year’s homecoming theme: Spider-Man.

Starting off strong with Monday’s Squad Day, students matched with their squad in matching outfits.
Class Colors day was on Tuesday, when Skyhawks dressed in colors according to their grade level: freshmen: white; sophomores: blue; juniors: red, and seniors: black.
On Workout Wear Wednesday, students wore their workout clothes, such as leggings and tracksuits.
Thursday was Far From Home, and the Skyhawks dressed up as tourists who were far from home.
The final spirit day was “There’s a Skyhawk Storm Coming” on Friday when Silverado Students wore their school pride to show their unity against the upcoming storm: the Rancho Rams, which Silverado would face off against later that day.

Throughout the day of homecoming on Sept. 26, Silverado’s mascot, accompanied by two Spidermen, went from classroom to classroom, causing chaos and mildly disrupting classrooms.
Later that day, the Skyhawks won 54-0 in the football game against Rancho. During halftime, the homecoming king and queen were announced. The senior king and queen were Spencer Tolentino and Leah Lau.
“As I felt in freshman year, I was not expecting to win Homecoming King. It was surreal to hear my name called by Ms. Ditto,” says Senior King Spencer Tolentino.
The homecoming rave took place right after the football game ended from 8:00 to 10:30 p.m. The homecoming freshmen lord and lady were Carson Martinez and Lola Gordoa; the sophomore duke and duchess were Noah Year and Cora Vidal; and the junior prince and princess were Daniel Barlow and Cedie Tolentino.
