On Feb. 12, Silverado’s Interact Club collected coins from students and a Rotarian from the Green Valley Rotary Club to raise funds for the animals affected by the Australian bushfires.

This fundraiser, cleverly named “Koins for Koalas,” raised just over $300. This money was donated directly to an animal hospital facilitating care to the wildlife harmed.
