Jillian Garcia is a 17-year-old senior in Silverado High School, and she has just recently been added to the school newspaper this school year. She also joined Silverado’s news broadcast as the floor director. She grew up in the Bay Area, but moved to Las Vegas last year. Garcia formed a Film Club and volunteered to help conserve her local national park every week back in California. She plans to write and explore the media as well as the film industry for the newspaper.
