On Oct. 29, Travis Scott brought “Utopia: Circus Maximus” to Las Vegas in the MGM Center. Scott came with an amazing performance and an even better set-list.
Scott’s opener was Teezo Touchdown who is featured in his song “Modern Jam ft. Teezo Touchdown.” Teezo opened the show with engaging songs and audience participation. Teezo briefly covered songs by Drake, Tyler, the Creator, and other hit artists.
Despite the technical difficulties at the beginning of his set, he played through them and returned a high energy performance.
Scott began performing at 9:45 p.m., ending his show around 11. Personally, I believe he could’ve performed longer, although with all of the energy, dancing, and jumping, I understand why it was shortened.
My favorite parts of the show were Scott singing “NO BYSTANDERS” because of the energy and engagement around me. Another big highlight of the night for me was Scott singing “FE!N” back-to-back. The audience had high energy the first time, so of course he had to run it back.
During this tour Scott has reached a record. He is the first rapper to sell out So-Fi stadium in California.
All in all, I would rate his concert a 9.5/10. I non-stop talked about it over the next couple of days and would absolutely go again in a heartbeat.
