Hailey (Lee) McGarry-Shields is a senior at Silverado High School. This is their first year as a writer on the Silverado Star staff. They enjoy writing fiction and humor. Their reading interests include fantasy, romance, and coming of age stories. They also enjoy both reading and performing plays and musicals. Lee heavily likes writing about LGBTQ+ rights and advocating for such rights. They read and write to take in and share information.
